The Kalamazoo Dog Training Club is dedicated to the training and well-being of dogs; we participate in a wide variety of dog related activities. In addition to offering a wide range of dog training classes, taught by member volunteers, KDTC participates in and supports numerous community organizations, school groups and animal rescue units. We were founded in January 1975 and accredited by the American Kennel Club in June 1978.

KDTC continues to meet its goals and objectives by conducting dog training classes, educating and encouraging the public to practice responsible dog ownership, and promoting cooperation and good sportsmanship among our members in the training and exhibiting of dogs.
